TB NETBible YUN-IBR Ref. Silang Nama Gambar Himne

Ulangan 4:9

Konteks
Reminder of the Horeb Covenant

4:9 Again, however, pay very careful attention, 1  lest you forget the things you have seen and disregard them for the rest of your life; instead teach them to your children and grandchildren.

Ulangan 13:5

Konteks
13:5 As for that prophet or dreamer, 2  he must be executed because he encouraged rebellion against the Lord your God who brought you from the land of Egypt, redeeming you from that place of slavery, and because he has tried to entice you from the way the Lord your God has commanded you to go. In this way you must purge out evil from within. 3

Ulangan 15:18

Konteks
15:18 You should not consider it difficult to let him go free, for he will have served you for six years, twice 4  the time of a hired worker; the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

Ulangan 16:15

Konteks
16:15 You are to celebrate the festival seven days before the Lord your God in the place he 5  chooses, for he 6  will bless you in all your productivity and in whatever you do; 7  so you will indeed rejoice!

Ulangan 28:12

Konteks
28:12 The Lord will open for you his good treasure house, the heavens, to give you rain for the land in its season and to bless all you do; 8  you will lend to many nations but you will not borrow from any.

Ulangan 28:29

Konteks
28:29 You will feel your way along at noon like the blind person does in darkness and you will not succeed in anything you do; 9  you will be constantly oppressed and continually robbed, with no one to save you.

Ulangan 28:68

Konteks
28:68 Then the Lord will make you return to Egypt by ship, over a route I said to you that you would never see again. There you will sell yourselves to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.”

Ulangan 31:7

Konteks
31:7 Then Moses called out to Joshua 10  in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you will accompany these people to the land that the Lord promised to give their ancestors, 11  and you will enable them to inherit it.

[4:9]  1 tn Heb “watch yourself and watch your soul carefully.”

[13:5]  2 tn Heb “or dreamer of dreams.” See note on this expression in v. 1.

[13:5]  3 tn Heb “your midst” (so NAB, NRSV). The severity of the judgment here (i.e., capital punishment) is because of the severity of the sin, namely, high treason against the Great King. Idolatry is a violation of the first two commandments (Deut 5:6-10) as well as the spirit and intent of the Shema (Deut 6:4-5).

[15:18]  4 tn The Hebrew term מִשְׁנֶה (mishneh, “twice”) could mean “equivalent to” (cf. NRSV) or, more likely, “double” (cf. NAB, NIV, NLT). The idea is that a hired worker would put in only so many hours per day whereas a bondslave was available around the clock.

[16:15]  5 tn Heb “the Lord.” See note on “he” in 16:1.

[16:15]  6 tn Heb “the Lord your God.” See note on “he” in 16:1.

[16:15]  7 tn Heb “in all the work of your hands” (so NASB, NIV); NAB, NRSV “in all your undertakings.”

[28:12]  8 tn Heb “all the work of your hands.”

[28:29]  9 tn Heb “you will not cause your ways to prosper.”

[31:7]  10 tn The Hebrew text includes “and said to him.” This has not been included in the translation for stylistic reasons.

[31:7]  11 tn Heb “fathers” (also in v. 20).
